Pyrenees
The first morning smells of pine and cold stone. We meet in Espot, a small village tucked into the Pyrenees. We eat dinner together. Tomorrow the mountains open up.
Morocco
The sun comes up over far-off mountains. You pull on your shoes in the warm morning light. The last village is behind you now. It won't come back for four days. Just sand, stone, and sky ahead.
