Arrival in Baja Into the Desert

We meet in La Paz, where the desert meets the Sea of Cortez. From the airport, we transfer into the rugged mountains of Rancho Cacachilas, a private wilderness reserve where the week begins. After settling into our glamping camp, we prepare bikes, meet the group, and gather for a welcome dinner under the desert sky. The pace slows. The landscape opens. The adventure begins.

The Sea of Cortez appears on the horizon as we find our rhythm together on the bike. In the afternoon, we slow down with an ecological workshop and visit to the ranch gardens, learning about the region’s conservation efforts. This isn't first come, first served.

The group is the experience. Who's beside you on the mountain matters as much as the mountain itself. That's why every Loaf experience is curated—we select for people who embrace challenge, adapt to uncertainty, and make everyone around them better.

We'll ask about your fitness, your experience, and what drew you to this trip. Not to gatekeep, to make sure the week delivers for you and for everyone in it.

If it's the right fit, you'll hear from us within 24 hours.
